About our company

When I sat on the Board of Directors of the National Association for the Terminally Ill, we were discussing how we could help patients who had exhausted their resources, but desperately needed prescription medications. We knew that pharmaceutical companies made many of their drugs available free of charge to qualified people, if you knew how to apply. It became my assignment to find out how the programs worked and if there were companies out there who could help in the application process.
What I found was disheartening. There were only two companies handling the application process, and neither could help more than 200 people a month. NATI anticipated as many as 2,000 persons per month would need help. On the bright side, I found that more than 100 pharmaceutical companies offered nearly 2,000 prescription medications free of charge to legal U.S. residents who were able to meet the pharmaceutical company's criteria.
After finding out how their programs worked, I put together a company capable of processing 20,000 or more applications a month.
That was in March 2000. Now, over ten years later, Patient Assistance Services has grown to be one of the oldest and largest patient advocate companies in the United States. We handle every aspect of the pharmaceutical companies’ "Patient Aid Programs" , from the initial qualification/application procedures through the ongoing renewal process. We've received television coverage on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News Network, ONN and WGN, to mention a few, as well as coverage in major newspapers across the country. Over the years we have added multiple product service lines, and have become experts in handling them expeditiously.
Best of all, we have helped literally thousands and thousands of people get the help they needed.
